We recently finished reading "The Defined Dish: Healthy and Wholesome Weeknight Recipes" by Alex Snodgrass.
Color us quite impressed! As many of us often struggle to find the time and energy to cook during the week, we really appreciated the simplicity and deliciousness of these recipes.
Alex Snodgrass emphasizes healthy and wholesome ingredients while keeping things approachable. The recipes are well-organized and each one feels manageable, even after a long day at work.
The “Lemon Herb Chicken Thighs” recipe paired with a side of roasted vegetables, quickly became a family favorite according to one of our contributors!
The flavors were vibrant and fresh, which made it hard to believe it was a quick weeknight dinner.
Another plus is that the book caters to those following a Paleo lifestyle, but I think anyone looking to eat healthier would find it useful. Each recipe includes nutrition information, which is a nice touch for those of us tracking our intake.
Overall, "The Defined Dish" has made my own weeknight dinners not only healthier but also more enjoyable. We're looking forward to trying more recipes and seeing what else can be whipped up.
