Deskbound Mini-review
Hey, it's Hasan coming at you with another mini-review
I'm re-reading "Deskbound" by Dr.Kelly Starrett, because it's just that good!
It's like having a wise, non-judgmental friend who shouts at you from your office chair. Seriously, if’ve ever felt your body turn into a pretzel while hunched over your laptop, this book is for you.
Starrett tackles the perils of our desk-bound lives with humor and a dash of tough love. breaks down complex ideas about mobility and posture into bite-sized, relatable chunks. I mean, who knew that sitting could be so dangerous?
It's like learning that your beloved couch is secretly a villain.
The illustrations and step-by-step instructions are super helpful—not too complicated, thankfully, so my brain didn’t short-circuit.
I’ve tried some of the stretches and movements he suggests, and I can actually feel my body “thank you” instead of “why are you doing this to me?”
Plus, it's peppered with funny anecdotes that made me chuckle while I realized that my work-from-home setup looks more like a chamber than a productivity haven.
If you're someone who spends far too many hours glued to a chair (guilty as charged!), "Deskbound" is a must-read.
It’s like a workout for your while giving your body a gentle nudge to come back to life. Seriously, give it a shot—your spine will thank you!
