Juice Fasting: Your Ultimate Health Fix

Image
Let’s cut to the chase — sometimes your body just needs a timeout: From late-night pizza. From back-to-back coffee runs. From all the things that wear you down without you even realizing it.  Juice fasting gives your system a pause. Not a trend. Not a gimmick. People have been doing it way before wellness influencers and TikTok hacks. It’s not magic.  But it’s something real. Something simple. And when it’s done right, it can be one of the most refreshing things you’ll ever do. So, What’s Juice Fasting, Really? Juice fasting means drinking only freshly squeezed juices for a short period. Probably pasteurized, pumped full of preservatives, and sitting on that shelf way too long.  For the real deal, make...

Brewing Success: Harnessing The Benefits Of Caffeine BEFORE Your Workout

Image
Let’s face it—ditching that morning coffee? Not happening for most of us.  You probably already knew this but, around 90% of Americans start their day with some form of caffeine, whether it's coffee, an energy drink, or a scoop of pre-workout.  The upside? That daily ritual could actually be working with your body, especially if you’re active and mindful about your health. Sure, scientists used to call it “trimethylxanthine” (sounds like something out of a Marvel movie), but luckily “caffeine” stuck.  And when used right, it’s more than just a wake-up call—it can give your workouts a legit boost, help with soreness, and speed up recovery.  Let’s break down what the newest studies are saying—and how to use caffeine in a way your body will thank you for. My Tea Tastes Like Lawn Clippings!!

Image
This series has been challenging to write due to the sheer amount of research needed to intelligently discuss the subject matter at length. However, it has been a lot of fun. I can hardly wait to unveil my next chapter to you, but I wanted to share an experience and a bit of history with you as well. I recently had the opportunity to try out some pure  green tea   at an authentic Chinese teahouse. I noticed right off the bat that the tea was quite unique in flavor.  It tasted like grass.😵‍💫 I'll admit, I have had green tea before, but this was VERY grassy and floral. A friend that I was with explained some history about green tea (I hope I have recalled it accurately. The water was too hot to drink, so ...
