If you’re ready to make a positive change and feel more energized, focused, and confident, you don’t need drastic measures to get started.
A healthy weight‑loss kick‑start is all about simple shifts that build momentum — the kind that help you feel better day by day.
The weight loss plan presented here may help you lose 6 pounds quickly. This begs the question: Is that even possible?
The short answer is yes. You just need to follow some simple steps to achieve this goal and lose fat fast!
If you missed your post-holiday goal of losing a substantial amount of weight, this article is for you!
Our long-time readers may recognize some of these tips as we have discussed them before, the reason why we're mentioning them again is because of their effectiveness.
The first step toward balancing your eating habits is to purge your pantry of all unhealthy foods.
Clear out your refrigerator and pantry and toss out anything that is not verifiably healthy.
Anything that will prevent you from losing weight needs to go, period. That means bye-bye seed oils.
Speaking of which, most of your pre-packaged "foods" need to go into the trash as well. 🗑️
Next step, go to the grocery store and buy the following items:
1. Tortillas (blue corn if available)
2. Canned tuna (pole or line caught, packed in water)
3. Any and all fruits
4. Any and all vegetables
5. 6 - 8 oz. steak (slightly marbled if possible + they may be cheaper than the leaner cuts) or ground beef
6. Chicken breasts (unskinned and bone-in because that is cheaper than the boneless, skinless variety)
7. Balsamic or apple cider vinegar
8. Milk (raw, coconut, or whatever variety you prefer)
9. Cruciferous vegetables (like broccoli and cauliflower)
10. Sliced turkey breast
11. Wild (not farm-raised) salmon
12. Kefir or good quality Greek yogurt
13. Eggs (any poultry variety)
Make a diet plan for the next seven days using these foods as the foundation.
Focus on the pounds you want to lose.
After that, you'll be fully committed to following through. One of the reasons for cleaning out your kitchen ahead of time is that there will be no food with which to "cheat."
Do you see? There was a reason for doing the purge beyond decluttering your kitchen shelves and refrigerator.

Next, go to the appropriate online app store for your smartphone and download an app that has a built-in pedometer.
Exercise is the best way to burn fat.
Strive to walk at least 10,000 steps per day. That may seem to be a lot of work, but here are some ways to achieve those steps before you even realize it:
1. Park far from the front door of your workplace or a store. Not only will you get more steps in, but you will also have an easier time finding parking.
2. Instead of taking the elevator, take the stairs. If you work above the fourth floor, exit the elevator at least two floors early and walk the remaining distance.
3. If you need to contact a coworker, go to their office or desk rather than calling or emailing them.
4. If you take the bus or another mode of public transportation, get off a few stops early and walk.
5. Take your dog out for a walk. If you don't have a dog, offer to walk your neighbor's dog.
6. Before dinner, go for a walk. A walk before dinner will not only increase the number of steps you take that day, but it may also reduce your appetite.

Lifting and stabilizing weights, particularly heavy ones, engages your legs, back, core, and arms. When all of those muscle groups fire at the same time, you burn a lot of calories and lose a lot of weight.
Individuals who want to improve their health should seek the advice of doctors and other health specialists before participating in fitness programs such as weight training.
Finally, if you're trying to lose weight, try to drink some water everyday.
If you don't like drinking water straight, you can substitute unsweetened iced tea, sugar-free lemonade, or real fruit punch.
Losing 6 pounds in a week is possible. Change your diet drastically, start walking more, and drink a sufficient amount of water. This plan will only be in effect for a week, not a lifetime.
In that time, you'll be able to lose at least 6 pounds or more of weight effortlessly!
