Best Of Both Worlds

I would be the first to tell you that certain foods and drinks are only appropriate for applicable seasons of times of the year (i.e. Hot Cocoa In Fall and Winter Only), but when I prepared and tasted this recipe, I have had to SERIOUSLY rethink my position on this subject. This IS absolutely delicious! Try preparing this simple recipe & I am certain you will agree!

Pumpkin Pie (Smoothie??)

1  cup of pumpkin puree
1  large ripe banana
1  cup of unsweetened soy or almond milk
2  tablespoons of  honey
1  teaspoon of pure vanilla extract
1 1/2 teaspoon of  pumpkin pie spice
1/4  teaspoon of ground nutmeg
5-6 ice cubes

Preparation:
Combine all ingredients into blender on high speed & blend until completely smooth

Optional:
Add crumbled almond as fiber-rich topping

  1. I will DEFINITELY share this recipe with my friends. I usually don't do cold drinks (except eggnog) during the winter, but this looks like it may fit in perfectly with my holiday beverages. By the way, my wife and I are in Hawaii for our anniversary, Kurt! I don't quite have the washboard abs I was looking for but, I have lost quite a bit of weight & I am not ashamed of removing my shirt (it's definitely warm enough). Thanks again for the diet and work out recommendations, Aloha!!!

Please do share this delicious recipe with all your family, friends & acquaintances. I am certain that they will enjoy it! I am glad that Fitness Watchers is working for you. Unlike a ton of other weight loss programs, this one is designed to give you realistic results. When you combine that with a well-balanced plant-based (or plant enriched) meal plan you can definitely get the type of physique that will drive your spouse wild!!! Just keep up the program & I am sure you and your wife will be pleased! Hope you are enjoying the Hawaiian weather, because we just got our first snow here in Chicago. Brrr!!!

Thanks again for commenting & Aloha!!

As I said before, this recipe made me re-think my position about cold drinks in colder temperatures. I do plan on posting more "heartier" warm meal recipes in the near future so be on the look out for them. Additionally, I plan on providing them more frequently.
