Detox is a Verb, Not a Weekend Plan: Your Body's Botanical Reset Guide
Millions of people swear by its effectiveness and even more are using the related products to this day.
We're not just talking normal free radicals and germs here, this is about the foreign invaders that your normal elimination system actually needs help with.
Just to be clear, detoxification is not a matter of giving your digestive tract a good cleansing. It's a matter of providing your body’s filtration systems with specific botanical assistance to allow the elimination process to work properly.

previously. Check it out here!⬇️
While modern trends present detoxification as a one-off program that only fits in a weekend, it was not always viewed this way.
Traditional medicine has always regarded it as a process that requires day-to-day participation, where the individual and the proper herbal products work together.
Nobody's saying that there is a cure-all gut fix here, but these are some plant-based solutions that you might want to look at for future reference.
*Speaking of "plant-based" gut fixes...⬇️
Nature's Very Own Clean-up Crew
The following short list contains herbs from both Eastern and Western traditions that have been used for centuries to help the body get rid of excess waste and some toxins.
From The East
Eastern tradition views detoxification as a process of removing heat, which is done by herbs such as:
• Lian Qiao (Forsythia fruit):
This has been a popular herb in Eastern traditions for clearing heat and toxins. It is used when there is a feeling of stagnation in the body.
• Ju Hua (Chrysanthemum flower):
This is another favorite in Eastern traditions for clearing the body heat. When making tea from this flower, never boil it for too long, as some of the volatile components will dissipate, leaving you with a weak infusion.
• Pu Gong Ying (Dandelion):
This plant is used in both Eastern and Western tradition. The leaves and the root are used to remove heat from the body.
Since these are drying herbs, they are said help the body to get rid of itself of toxins without depleting the fluids in the body.
The mechanism of action of herbs in traditional Eastern medicine is to work with the body rather than force it to do things.
• Chai Hu (Bupleurum root):
This root has long been used to regulate the functions of the gallbladder and liver.

From The West
While the Eastern tradition focuses on removing heat from the body, Western herbs affect the “organs of elimination” directly to help the body get rid of toxins:
• Dandelion (Taraxacum):
This plant is mentioned here again because it is one of the most popular detoxifying herbs even in Western tradition.
It is a bitter herb that helps to stimulate the bile production needed for healthy digestion and, in doing so, helps the liver to perform its function properly.
It has a natural diuretic effect.
Dandelion root happens to be packed with inulin, a prebiotic fiber that's pretty good at helping with constipation and getting food moving smoothly through your digestive tract.
• Licorice root (Glycyrrhiza glabra):
This root has a soothing effect on the gastric mucosa. It is also a powerful antioxidant and immunity booster.
• Cascara Sagrada and Psyllium Husk:
To detoxify the intestines, first, you need to have a regular bowel movement.
Cascara Sagrada is a natural laxative that will help stimulate sluggish bowels. Psyllium husk is a good source of soluble fiber that will help pass any accumulated waste.
• Black Walnut Hulls:
This popular herb in the Western tradition is used mainly to remove parasites from the digestive tract. It is most useful when taken in the green walnut form, when it still contains juglone and tannins.
• Garlic (Allium sativum):
This popular herb is used throughout the world to stimulate the function of the digestive tract. It has a natural antibiotic effect, helps to get rid of unwanted organisms in the intestines and stimulate the peristalsis.
*Garlic is ABSOLUTELY AWESOME and we proved it to you here!⬇️

• Goldenseal (Hydrastis canadensis):
This herb is used for its bitter properties to help stimulate the function of the upper gastrointestinal tract. It helps to remove stagnant matter from the body.
Another useful property of Goldenseal is its ability to stimulate the lymphatic system and help drain the lymph nodes.
In Closing
Detoxification is not a matter of forcing the body to get rid of waste; it is a matter of working with the body to stimulate the processes that help it get rid of toxins.
