Zesty Lemon Herb Chicken Skewers
We're going to get to the recipe in just a moment, but first, check out this story below:
Clucking Chaos: The Keto Chicken Challenge
In an attempt to "out-Keto" the Keto experts, Emma, Jake, and Lila embarked on a culinary adventure to create a simple, keto-friendly chicken dish.
The atmosphere in the minimalist kitchen was lively, filled with excitement and a bit of chaos. Emma took charge with almond flour, aiming for a crispy, low-carb meal, while Jake brandished a spatula like a rapier sword.
Lila rolls her eyes at Jake's lame attempt at humor and focused on what the recipe confirmed they needed to marinate the chicken in butter and garlic.
Their cooking session quickly turned into a comedic scene when Emma accidentally spilled a bowl of eggs while trying to look at recipe videos on her phone, leading to a playful moment as Jake slipped on the yolks.
Meanwhile, Emma accidentally powdered her face with the almond flour.
Everyone laughed (including Jake).
Despite the mishap, they managed to get the chicken into the oven. What could possibly go wrong at this point?
They gathered around the breakfast bar to taste their creation. After cleaning her face, Emma reminded everyone that regardless of the outcome, they had each other and an emergency takeout menu.
The chicken tasted terrible.
The trio looked at each other's faces of disgust and promptly agreed to order take-out.
Their laughter and camaraderie highlighted that even in chaos, cooking together was a fun and memorable experience.
That short story came from a friend of the blog who has a culinary background, but also happens to have a knack for comedy writing.

In case the story or the comedy in it didn't land, she gave us her personal recipe for a true Keto chicken dish. Enjoy!
