Rest Mini-review

I recently finished reading "Rest" by Alex Soojung-Kim Pang.

The book challenges the typical hustle culture that pushes us to always be and busy. Instead, Pang makes a strong case for the power of rest and how it can actually enhance our productivity and creativity.

What I really appreciated was how he backed up his ideas with scientific research and-life examples. It made everything feel more credible and relatable.

The way he discusses the importance of downtime—like taking breaks, naps, and even vacations—opened my eyes to how I’ve been overlooking the benefits of simply slowing down.

Pang’s writing style is straightforward and engaging, which makes the concepts easy to digest.

I found myself nodding along and reflecting on my own life as I read. He shares practical that I’m eager to try out to create a better balance between work and rest.

Overall, "Rest" isn’t just a book about taking it easy; it's a refreshing reminder that embracing rest can lead to more fulfilling and productive life. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone feeling burned out or overwhelmed by their to-do lists.

It’s a great read that can inspire you to rethink your approach to work and leisure.
