It all began in " The Matrix ". Remember when Morpheus presented Thomas Anderson (soon to become " Neo ") with the option of finding the truth about The Matrix construct through the choice of a red pill or a blue pill? Depending on numerous health factors and related weight issues, a good program to get the desired effects has to encompass not only a balanced meal plan but a solid work out regimen as well. There are of course, a lot of options out there for people to choose from and no doubt you may be able to name a few dozen at will. A good fiber-rich program that is designed to provide a gradual weight loss while cleansing your colon. You can get results in a relatively short period of time.   A good diet plan is a little tougher to come by because many of these programs only address a single aspect of health maintenance (carbohydrate control, fat loss, muscle building, etc).  To achieve the desired effect of a lean body it would be advisable to get on a meal plan that provides al...

You CAN Win The Battle Against Hair Loss!!

In response to one of my recent articles, a frequent reader, Janina Odell commented asking about how to deal with dry, brittle hair. I gave her a recipe in my response that should help her out. This got me thinking though, how many other people have the same issue?  So I did some research. Your hair is made of keratin ( the same protein that makes up your nails and the outer layer of your skin ). The part you see and style is called the hair shaft. It's actually dead tissue made by your hair follicles tiny bulb-like structures beneath your scalp's surface. We've all heard of thinning hair problems, but do we really know how common this problem is? Let's take a look at a few interesting numbers.... Approximately 70 million Americans have fine or thin-looking hair and it's growing (pardon the pun) 4 million women and 5 million men will have noticeably thinner-looking hair before they reach age 60 By age 65, 48% of all women reported thi...

This series has been challenging to write due to the sheer amount of research needed to intelligently discuss the subject matter at length. However, it has been a lot of fun. I can hardly wait to unveil my next chapter to you, but I wanted to share an experience and a bit of history with you as well. I recently had the opportunity to try out some pure  green tea   at an authentic Chinese teahouse. I noticed right off the bat that the tea was quite unique in flavor.  It tasted like grass.😵‍💫 I'll admit, I have had green tea before, but this was VERY grassy and floral. A friend that I was with explained some history about green tea (I hope I have recalled it accurately. I will gladly accept any feedback if my recollection has failed me).🤔 According to Chinese legend, green tea was invented by an emperor who was in the forest, and had simply boiled a kettle of water on his campfire. The water was too hot to drink, so ...
